X-Kart Take Round Win at SuperOne Fulbeck as Squad Delivers Strong Double-Header

X-Kart produced one of their strongest weekends of the season at Fulbeck for Rounds 7 and 8 of the Super One Series. Across Junior Max, Senior Max, and Micro Max, the team delivered multiple top-ten finishes and a race win, with several drivers showing the kind of consistent pace that has been building through the summer rounds.

Junior Max

Isaac Jameson

Isaac Jameson produced the standout performance of the weekend across both rounds. Saturday began with a power issue in practice, but the team worked through it and Jameson qualified P4, progressed through the heats with P7 and P4, and lined up P4 for the final. On the last lap, a battle between the drivers ahead at the final hairpin opened a gap on the inside and Jameson took it, crossing the line P2 before the driver ahead was excluded at scrutineering, handing him the win.

Sunday was a more measured day, with qualifying traffic dropping him to P13 before he worked back through the heats to start P7 in the final. A minor kart issue limited his progress and he crossed the line P6. Two strong results and a first Super One win of the season.

Jude Puddefoot

Jude Puddefoot‘s weekend at Fulbeck was defined by pace that deserved more than it got. Saturday qualifying placed him P3 and he backed that up with P2 in both heats, putting him in a strong position for the final. A last-lap move for the lead ended in the barriers and he finished P15, a result that bore no resemblance to the speed he had shown across the day.

Sunday was similarly frustrating. Qualifying P7, he was caught up in a first-corner incident in Heat 1 before recovering to P9 in Heat 2, only for the final to end early. The pace across the weekend was undeniable. Converting it into results is the focus heading into the next rounds.

Elijah Hartley

Elijah Hartley had one of the most eventful weekends of the season at Fulbeck, showing genuine front-running pace across both days only to be let down by factors outside his control. Saturday saw him qualify P8 before a spark plug failure on the start line ended Heat 1 early, and contact from two drivers in Heat 2 dropped him to the back. He fought back to P14 in the final after running inside the top ten, only to be hit again at the final corner.

Sunday told a better story. Qualifying P4 on the road before a nose cone penalty dropped him to P12, he progressed to P8 and P7 through the heats and carried that into a P7 finish in the final despite a first-corner incident dropping him to P14 at the start. The championship points are still intact and the pace to fight at the front is clearly there.

Senior Max

Lucas Steele

Lucas Steele delivered his joint-best result of the Super One season with P12 in the Round 8 final, backing up a weekend of encouraging pace throughout. Saturday was disrupted by an engine issue that ended Heat 1 early and limited his progress, but he recovered to P17 in the final. Sunday was a different picture, with Steele qualifying P12, his best of the season, and running consistently through the heats before converting that into P12 in the final.
The trajectory across the season is clear, and Fulbeck gives him a strong platform to build from heading into the final rounds.

Additional Team Results

Elsewhere in Junior Max, Nelson Taylor finished P7 in the Round 7 final before a penalty dropped him to P15 in Round 8. Harry Ward took P8 in Round 7 before an early exit in Round 8. Zak Jennings was unable to race across the weekend after a rib injury sustained at the previous round ruled him out after only four laps of practice. In Micro Max, James Hudson finished P10 in Round 7 and P12 in Round 8. In Senior Max, Lewis Holt finished P8 in the Round 7 final.
