X-Kart Crowned Champions as Jude Puddefoot Clinches Title at TKC Round 6 Whilton Mill

The Kart Championship finale at Whilton Mill brought one of the most significant results in X-Kart’s season, with Jude Puddefoot clinching the Junior Primo championship title in his first season of the class. Across a competitive final round, the squad also produced strong performances in Junior Rotax and Senior Rotax, with several drivers ending their TKC seasons on a high.

Junior Primo

Jude Puddefoot

Jude Puddefoot arrived at Whilton Mill knowing what was needed and delivered exactly that. Qualifying P7, he worked through the sessions progressively, taking P13 in Heat 1 before winning Heat 2 to build momentum heading into Sunday. The superheats continued in the same vein, with a P1 followed by P2, putting him in the perfect position for the final.

From there, Jude controlled what he needed to and crossed the line to win the final, sealing the Junior Primo championship title in the process. A first season in Junior Primo ending with a championship, a result that reflects the consistency and composure he has shown across the entire campaign.

Junior Rotax

Isaac Jameson

Isaac Jameson closed out his Junior Rotax career at Whilton Mill in difficult circumstances, with a DNF in Heat 1 after contact damaged his rear bumper, and a DSQ in Super Heat 2 after further contact caused a part to come loose. With the weekend against him, he fought through the B Final from P10 to P3 to earn a place in the A Final, where he started P33 and worked his way through to P19 by the flag. Not the send-off his Junior Rotax career deserved, but a recovery drive in the final that showed the character he has built across the season.

Senior Rotax

Lewis Sumner

Lewis Sumner ended his TKC season at Whilton Mill with a final result that didn’t reflect a season of genuine pace and championship contention. Two mechanical DNFs in the heats and superheats took the championship fight out of his hands before the final, though he recovered to finish P9 on the road in the final itself from P21 on the grid. A frustrating way to close a season that had produced podiums and genuine front-running pace across multiple rounds.

Additional Team Results

Elsewhere in Junior Rotax, Nelson Taylor, Elijah Hartley, Harry Ward and Zak Jennings all competed across the round. In Senior Rotax, Riley Bishop, Zac Cain and Lewis Holt also represented the team. Jack Smith competed in Junior Primo in his debut TKC season with X-Kart.
