Triple podiums and rising confidence at JKC
XKART lit up Shenington with a weekend to remember — three podium finishes, massive comebacks, fastest laps, and raw determination from every driver in the tent. In one of the most competitive rounds of the JKC calendar so far, our drivers delivered under pressure and showed exactly what this team is made of.
Hazelwood turns injury into triumph
Just one round after fracturing his wrist, Elijah Hazelwood came back with something to prove — and he delivered. After storming through the heats with unbeatable pace, he took the win in the final with confidence and class. It was a special moment for the team and one of the standout performances of the year so far.

Bishop dominates from start to finish
Riley Bishop was unstoppable. He took pole, led every lap of every heat, and controlled the final from lights out to chequered flag. Nobody got close. It was a flawless, dominant display that perfectly reflected his form and focus. When driver and machine are this in sync, the results speak for themselves.
Jennings and Sumner fight to the front
Zak Jennings didn’t let early setbacks define his weekend. He dug deep, stayed sharp, and pushed hard through the field to earn a brilliant P2 finish in the final.
As for Lewis Sumner — what a comeback. Disqualified from qualifying due to a missing chain guard, Lewis started every race from the back. He didn’t just gain positions — he gained 54 of them across the weekend and wasn’t overtaken once. He crossed the line P5 in the final after one of the most impressive recovery drives we’ve ever seen.

Jameson, Cooper and Hartley shine under pressure
Isaac Jameson continues to grow in confidence and skill. A stunning P2 in one of the super heats helped form an XKART 1-2-3, and his pace all weekend was front-runner level. A small mistake ended his final early, but his performance was anything but disappointing. Cooper Campbell-Lees showed top-three pace all weekend, securing pole and a run of consistent results. He was unlucky to suffer damage in the final, but the grit he showed to keep fighting was pure class. Elijah Hartley delivered his best racing yet — gaining places in every session, showing proper wheel-to-wheel confidence, and proving he’s ready to keep climbing.

Momentum building across the grid
Zac Cain’s development continues to shine through with every outing. His confidence in the kart has grown massively since the start of the season, and at Shenington, that progress was clear to see. He looked sharper and more controlled with every session, making smart overtakes and holding position under pressure. Zac is steadily becoming a driver who can race hard without overdriving, and that maturity is beginning to show in his results.
Archie Doherty had a challenge before the lights even went out. With no time for practice due to school exams, Archie arrived at Shenington needing to get straight to work. Despite starting on the back foot, he focused, settled into the kart quickly, and improved with every session. He made up places in every race and gained valuable race mileage to take into the next round.

Jake Anders had his weekend turned upside down after a puncture in qualifying, which left him starting further back than expected. But his response was superb. Jake showed real grit as he battled through the field, gaining position after position to bring it home in P12 — a proper charge and one of his most composed drives to date.
Lewis Holt found himself in the thick of the action in the midfield throughout the weekend. The racing was scrappy at times, but Lewis kept his cool, avoided trouble where he could, and stayed committed. He brought the kart home in P23, taking on board valuable lessons and building the experience needed to break through that mid-pack bottleneck in future rounds.

This weekend wasn’t just a strong result, it was a full-team effort, with drivers pushing each other forward, chasing every tenth, and fighting for every inch on track. The podiums, the pace, the passion. It’s only the beginning.
